RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking a qualified Mechanical Project Engineer with experience working on projects of diverse complexity and scope. This role involves consulting on high-priority projects, scoping, and reviewing these scopes with system engineers from relevant disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Mechanical Project Engineer will provide oversight on infrastructure projects and problem resolution for roadblocks
* Meet ongoing milestones for projects and customer requests
* As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will meet project expectations for various site projects, including Business Unit funded tooling and infrastructure
* Support startup of installed equipment and other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10 years of site infrastructure knowledge
* 10 years of construction project engineering experience
* 5 years of experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with project processes, collaborating with project managers, construction managers, system engineers, and designers
* Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
* Strong judgment skills to resolve conflicting requirements
* Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in MS Office and capable of reviewing construction drawings
* Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
* Ability to walk the campus and access cleanrooms, mechanical/electrical rooms, equipment yards, and roofs during design and construction activities
* Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit
* Primarily operates in a standard office environment with occasional work in manufacturing and construction settings
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
