RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Middleware Programmer in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
* Middleware Programmer will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
* Performs a variety of complicated tasks
* As a Middleware Programmer, you may lead and direct the work of others
* May report directly to a project lead or manager
REQUIREMENTS:
* May require a Bachelor's degree
* 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
* Proven experience as an App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer
* Strong knowledge of IBM ACE/IIB development, including ESQL, Java, and integration patterns
* Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and related technologies
* Understanding of message-oriented middleware (MQ) and related technologies
* Familiarity with various data formats and transformation techniques
* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Nice to have:
* ODM- Operation Decision Center
* TeamCity
* Harness
* AWS - Cloud knowledge
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
