RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a talented Network Engineer for our client, a leading player in the commercial real estate space in NYC. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity, with great opportunity for long-term growth! Hybrid in downtown NYC in state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, and Aruba products
* Configure and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
* Integrate routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP to optimize network performance
* Polished and professional; With the ability to work closely with stakeholders across IT departments to ensure seamless integration and support of network infrastructure
* Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure uninterrupted services
* Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues
* Troubleshoot Layer 1/2/3 network issues and optimize the performance of LAN/WAN environments
* Implement firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, NAT, syslog, and other security solutions to safeguard the network from threats
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience in enterprise environments in network engineering or technician roles
* Experience in managing and maintaining Palo Alto NGFW, Panorama, and Cisco ASAs
* Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
