RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Infrastructure Construction Manager in Austin, TX.
Duties Include:
* Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards; Ensure adherence of contractors' Quality Control standards and support internal QA/Commissioning for turnover of Telecom system
* Expedite solutions to solve clashes while coordinating with design team for best path forward; Must be able to field verify existing conditions against drawings and BIM model and catch foreseeable issues
* Review, generate, and sub RFI's and Submittals
* Track and review contractor invoices; Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents; Compare and track baseline from actual and report variances
* Responsible for project buy-out including developing bid packages, working with Procurement to issue RFP's, writing contracts and Scopes of Work, and issuing Wos; Conduct weekly review progress meetings with project teams to identify scope gaps, risks, project goals, and recovery plans
* Must be experienced in reading, interpreting, and implementing Project Docs and Specifications; Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, and codes; Be able to communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders from contractors, Design/Engineering, and QA/Commissioning teams
* Project management: Work within project scope, obj, deliverables; Dev project plan outlines tasks, timeline, and resources required
* Project Scheduling and Timeline Development: Develop project and tasks schedules that include all project activities, dependencies, and milestones; IDing critical path and ensuring tasks on the critical path are prioritized to avoid delays in the project
* Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly reviewing the project's progress against the baseline schedule and adjusting as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent, or equivalent industry experience
* 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, project management, or engineering
* Experience managing projects in large manufacturing or industrial environments
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
* Ability to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize project objectives
* Project will require long hours, looking for ambitious and tenacious team members
* DevOps with Microsoft Azure (big plus)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
