Network Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Network Project Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 to 4 days onsite. This person will be managing 4-5 big projects at a time.

Key Responsibilities:
* Network Project Manager will lead and manage global network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project objectives
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, focusing on on-premises to cloud transitions
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices
* As a Network Project Manager, you will monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
* Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Project Focus:
Primarily focused on conversions, including:
* Conversion from Checkpoint to Palo Alto
* Conversions from on-premises to cloud and cloud to cloud
* Moving all AWS environments to Google Cloud Platform

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in network infrastructure projects
* Strong technical knowledge of networking concepts, including on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
* Excellent understanding of network security principles and best practices
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
* Articulate and able to present complex information clearly
* Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to provide accurate numbers and charts
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with network automation and orchestration tools
* Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
* Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
