OpenShift Virtualization Senior

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Virtualization (CNV) Senior Consultant to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of OpenShift Virtualization solutions within Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned professional who thrives in dynamic, client-facing settings and can deliver robust CNV solutions that bridge traditional VM workloads with modern containerized applications.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCE, OpenShift Specialist, Virtualization Specialist)
* Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
* Proven expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (CNV)
* Strong knowledge of KVM, libvirt, and VM lifecycle management in OpenShift
* Experience with OpenShift CLI (oc), Operators, and Kubernetes-native virtualization workflows
* Familiarity with storage solutions (Ceph, OpenShift Data Foundation) and SDN integration
* Ability to work with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid environment
* Experience with OpenShift GitOps, Ansible Automation, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Background in consulting, client engagement, or technical pre-sales

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
