RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Part-Time Change Management Consultant in Farmington, CT.
Overview:
A Change Management Consultant (CMC) will partner with the Field Technician Management Team (FTM) as well as various project team(s) to develop and execute change strategies and tactics as part of the payroll transformation project, where payroll processing will transition to a cloud based system. The CMC will be embedded within a project team and expected to apply the Change Management methodology and tools to effectively support the change outcomes.
A CMC may work on one or more change efforts ranging in focus, breadth, and duration. Each project will require the CMC to conduct proper analysis, create a change plan, and continuously share updates to the Change Management COE and Project Team regarding the progress of the program. A CMC should work independently, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and share lessons learned at the completion of their project.
The CMC will be expected to:
* Partner with the Change Management CoE, the FTM project team, and business stakeholders to align the timeline of the project milestones and change management activities by impacted user type
* Effectively use change management tools such as impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication plans, and training plans to support project objectives
* Develop engaging change communications tailored to key stakeholder groups in support of leadership alignment, knowledge transfers, manager/supervisor enablement and employee engagement throughout the transformation process
* Build and/or manage a change network - with support from internal colleagues to facilitate information flow and support throughout the organization
* Conduct thorough analysis and create change plans for the payroll transformation project, providing regular updates to the Change Management CoE and Project Team on progress and challenges
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field; required; Master's preferred in related field
* 3 years of experience in leading and executing organizational change efforts
* Certification preferred in change management (Prosci, Association of Change Management Professions, Kotter, etc.)
* Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, facilitation, and presentations)
* Savvy with technology (i.e. Microsoft suite)
* Effectively applies Change Management principles and methodologies
* Demonstrates proficiency in influencing others toward a common goal
* Demonstrates willingness collaborate and ability to get work done through others
* Experience working in an industrial or field service environment preferred, understanding the unique challenges faced by field mechanics
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
