RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Dashboard Developer in Draper, UT.
Summary:
In this role, you will develop a dynamic reporting dashboard integrating multiple data sources, including flat files (Excel) and API-based data streams (e.g., Tenable, AzureAD/EntraID). This project requires automated data ingestion, transformation, and visualization to provide real-time or near real-time updates for key metrics and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Power BI dashboards integrating data from Excel files and APIs (Tenable, AzureAD/EntraID)
* Automate data ingestion and transformation to ensure continuous report updates
* Power BI Dashboard Developer will implement data modeling, DAX calculations, and performance optimization techniques
* Develop ETL pipelines using Power Query, SQL, or Python for data preparation
* Implement real-time or near real-time data updates where applicable
* Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance best practices
* As a Power BI Dashboard Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs and visualization requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience in Power BI dashboard development
* Hands-on experience with Azure services (AzureAD/EntraID, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse Analytics)
* Experience integrating Power BI with APIs (REST, Graph API, etc.) and flat files
* Experience with ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows
* Knowledge of security best practices in Power BI (Row-Level Security, data governance, etc.)
* Strong expertise in Power Query (M), DAX, and Power BI Service
* Strong communication skills to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and modeling
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
