Principal Front End Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Principal Front End Software Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Expertise in Web based development especially Angular
* Strong critical thinking skills coupled with a desire to learn and engage with peers in technical and design discussion
* Demonstrated experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners and business partners
* Experience in a financial services application domain, including portfolio and fund management, securities trading and financial decision making
* Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
* A passion for system analysis to provide our business partners with the best solution structure for them
* A demonstrable understanding of the Agile software development methodology
* Significant experience and expertise in Angular web development, front end frameworks and hands-on coding
* A working knowledge of Oracle Database software, specifically discovering database schemas and build/run SQL queries
* A working knowledge of application deployment and runtime operations in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment
* Experience with Java middle tier application development and programming especially with RESTful Web Services (Java, J2EE, Junit) and be able to jump in when needed is a plus

Familiarity with the following will be considered a very strong plus:
* Jenkins
* CI/CD Pipelines
* Udeploy
* Maven
* Github
* Springboot

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
