RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's retail client is looking for a Procurement Specialist to come on board and support their Vendor Management Office (VMO) within the Technology Finance org, Onsite and San Francisco, CA 4 days a week Monday - Friday.
Summary:
This role is to support the contracts team high volume of contracts that are in queue. We are looking for someone that can jump in and work with contract negotiations and procurement experience. The Procurement Specialist will be red lining and creating new contracts that route to legal. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a legal background to work as liaison with our legal team. Our team utilizes Raindrop for initiating and contract management prior to routing to Adobe for finalizing contracts.
Breakdown:
* 70% - Procurement/Sourcing: SaaS/hardware/licensing work; Understand licensing structure, create negotiation strategy, work with internal stakeholders to ensure product roadmap for purchases, etc.
* 30% - Contracting: SOW work, amendments, etc.; Terms and conditions coming from overarching MSA; Less technical
Responsibilities:
* Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements), order forms, SOWs and amendments required to support business activities
* Manage vendor initiatives including sourcing activities (RFx), supplier selection, contract/pricing negotiation and spend tool administration
* Analyze company spend regularly to appropriately determine and execute on sourcing initiative and cost saving opportunities
* Partner with Legal, Corporate Accounting, Risk and Compliance teams with respect to contract reviews, threatened and actual litigation, corporate compliance issues, and other similar matters affecting the supported business units
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience related to procurement/sourcing and contracts management experience
* Contract experience related to IT, SaaS and hardware contracts is required
* Experience related to SaaS/hardware/licensing work; Understanding of licensing structure, creating a negotiation strategy, and writing contracts
* Experience redlining contracts (MSA or SOW) related to Terms and conditions coming from overarching MSA
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high volume of transactional contracts
* Experience supporting a technology organization and partnering with different cross-functional teams to work through contracts (i.e., legal, security, vendor partners, etc.)
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
* Experience with e-signature tools and spend management tools
Nice to have:
* Background in legal
* Retail technology experience is highly preferred
* Adobe Sign for E-signature tool experience
* Raindrop for spend management tools experience
* Experience with indirect procurement (strategic sourcing, category/supplier/spend management), contracts
* Strong knowledge of procurement, contracting and vendor management principles
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
