RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Program Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Maryland Heights, MO. We are looking for a highly skilled Program Manager to lead large-scale programs and initiatives within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budgetary requirements
* Communication: Tailor communication strategies to engage effectively with different audiences, from executives to project teams; Prepare and present program status updates in executive leadership meetings
* Planning Tools: Create and maintain Gantt charts, roadmaps, and other project documentation; Utilize JIRA for tracking progress, creating metrics, and developing dashboards to provide visibility into program performance
* Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate organizational politics with finesse, understanding leadership expectations and supporting initiatives without getting sidetracked by conflicts
* Agile Methodology: Implement and promote Agile practices within program teams to enhance collaboration and adaptability
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* Proven experience as a Program Manager, successfully leading large-scale programs
* Experience in Agile methodologies
* Strong skills in creating Gantt charts, roadmaps, and presentation materials
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging for different audiences (executives vs. project teams)
* Proficiency in JIRA, with the ability to create metrics and dashboards
* Proven track record in managing complex programs
* Strategic thinker who can engage with both executive leadership and project teams, ensuring alignment and progress toward our goals
Nice to Have:
* Master's degree in a relevant field
* Professional certifications such as PMP or Agile certifications
* Previous experience with program charters and governance
* Technical background to facilitate buy-in from development teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
