RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Program Manager in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Take charge of the end-to-end product development process, ensuring seamless integration of software and hardware components, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety
* Leverage your deep knowledge of AI and digital technologies to drive innovation in product development, addressing complex healthcare challenges with cutting-edge solutions
* Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and researchers in the development
* Collaborate closely with regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure product success
* Ensure that all products under development adhere to FDA regulations and other healthcare-related standards
* Lead efforts in the preparation and submission of necessary documentation for regulatory approvals
* Oversee the integration of software and hardware systems, ensuring smooth communication and functionality between both components to provide a seamless user experience
* Drive the development of novel solutions to meet unmet healthcare needs, implementing strategies to overcome technical challenges and ensure products are delivered on time and within budget
* Provide regular updates to the CTO and executive leadership team regarding development progress, potential challenges, and strategies for resolution
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in a senior engineering or management role within a medical technology, life sciences, or healthcare company
* Extensive experience in both hardware and software product development, with a focus on medical devices, life science applications, or IoT solutions for healthcare
* Strong background in the application of AI and digital technologies in healthcare settings, with a track record of successful product delivery
* In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations and experience with regulatory submissions, including 510(k), PMA, and other relevant pathways
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to drive innovation and resolve complex technical challenges
* Proven ability to manage product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring successful product launches and scalability
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
