RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Program Support Analyst - Technical Writer.
Responsibilities:
* Writes, edits, proofreads, and/or provides writing support on non-technical and/or technical documents/deliverables or sections of documents/deliverables, such as technical or user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational specifications, technical data packages, training materials, and programmatic deliverables
* Gathers information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff
* Translates complex data into user-friendly text for print and electronic publications
* Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts
* Conducts quality review of materials
* Coordinates with stakeholders or other experts to develop draft and final copies of documentation while ensuring documents meet editorial and Government specifications and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
* Follows cataloging systems and maintains records, files, electronic media, and information archiving for documents and deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience or 9 years of related experience without the degree
* Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework
* Prior experience working within DoD IT infrastructure
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
