Project Manager Oracle GL Functional Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager Oracle GL Functional Consultant in Miami, FL (Florida).

Responsibilities:
* Project Manager will serve as the functional lead and project manager for the Oracle GL module during the EBS to Oracle Cloud transition
* Liaise between the City's Finance Department, IT stakeholders, and external implementation partners
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, status reports, and risk mitigation strategies
* Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, and solution design for Oracle Cloud GL
* Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including UAT and parallel testing
* As a Project Manager, you will ensure alignment with public sector accounting standards and regulatory compliance
* Manage change control and facilitate training, documentation, and user adoption
* Provide leadership during data conversion, validation, and reconciliation efforts
* Report progress to executive sponsors and provide timely issue resolution

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7 years of experience as a Project Manager or Functional Consultant in Oracle ERP implementations
* Deep knowledge of Oracle General Ledger, including chart of accounts structure, allocations, journal entries, and financial reporting
* Proven experience with Oracle EBS and at least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementation
* Strong understanding of public sector financial processes and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
* PMP or equivalent certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with or for a government entity or municipality
* Experience with data migration tools and methodologies
* Familiarity with related Oracle Cloud modules (AP, AR, Cash Management, etc.)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
