RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team in North Reading, MA.
Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests using Java and Appium framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address testing needs and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Typical Tasks:
* Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java and Appium for mobile app testing
* Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and libraries
* Identify opportunities to expand test automation coverage and improve testing efficiency
* Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-4 years of experience in software testing and test automation
* Proficient in Java programming and Appium framework for mobile app testing
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
* Experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Experience in testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS
* Familiarity with AWS cloud-based testing platform
* Exposure to performance and load testing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
