RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Fort Washington, PA.
Responsibilities:
* Development and maintenance of automation framework(s) to support API and UI based testing
* Development of Test Plans
* As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will participate in-Sprint automation of test cases
* For each release, determine automation candidates based on developed selection criteria
* Conversion of requirements, user stories, design documents, and/or existing manual test cases into a set of automated scripts, ensuring compliance with development methodology and framework
* Development and maintenance of Sanity, Smoke, System, E2E and Regression Test types
* Routine maintenance of existing test scripts (i.e. anticipate changes and update scripts accordingly)
* Regular collection of metrics to understand and track the time and cost savings
* Daily progress reports and escalates any testing or automation issues
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline (or a combination of education and experience)
* 5 years of leading a manual and automation test programs for large complex enterprise applications
* 3 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, implementation, and the execution of automated test scripts
* Experience in project management tools including such as: Azure DevOps or Jira
* Experienced in developing test strategies and planning approaches for manual and automated testing
* Expertise in Internet technologies, tools, and Internet environments
* Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow scenarios
* Must be able to plan, organize and direct automation activities to achieve maximum operational efficiency in meeting department and company, goals, and objectives
* Ability to map requirements to test cases
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
