RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a talented Release Train Engineer in Plano, TX.
Summary:
The Release Train Engineer (RTE) acts as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). They make ART events and practices run smoothly and help the Agile Teams succeed. The RTE communicates with stakeholders, facilitates problem-solving, and helps to manage risks.
Job Duties:
* Effective Change agent
* Identify areas of improvement in the client's Agile execution and implement process change improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous RTE experience
* Experience with Jira and Rally - including knowledge to build reports and graphs to measure metrics and progress throughout the ART (Agile Release Train)
* Agile expertise (ideally SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework), Kanban, Scrum
* Strong technical analyst skills - this person doesn't have to be a technical SME but ideally will have enough technical savvy to ask good questions improving our business requirement processes
* Strong presentation skills - both orally and visually
* The candidate would need have a strong personality able to deliver messages to large audiences
* Presentation skills to deliver professional messages via PowerPoint, white papers, email, etc.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
