Senior Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Grand Rapids, MI that is seeking a Senior Developer.

Responsibilities:
* In this role, the Senior Developer follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs
* Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents
* Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback
* Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency
* Participates in architecture, design and code reviews
* The Senior Developer develops and maintains operational and system level documentation
* Works within the SAFe Agile framework and utilizes CI/CD best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 5 years of strong C#.Net, SQL, RESTful API development experience
* Experience with Confluent Kafka (or other messaging platforms)
* Strong experience building Paas applications in MS Azure
* Strong experience in MS Azure (Function Apps, Cosmos Db, Durable Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, etc.)
* Experience designing/developing these systems and not simply supporting from a DevOps/Cloud Maintenance perspective
* Experience developing unit test cases required
* Experience in developing backend services for payment methods/any exposure to development for government assistance programs as it pertains to e-commerce solutions is preferred
* Experience on Agile teams in Agile development environment. SAFe certification or training is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
