RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior MuleSoft/Java Dev in Minnetonka, MN.
Summary:
The Member Portal/API Development team is focused on building solutions to support Company's business domains around our Member, Provider, and Broker portal solutions. You will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions to advance these business domains utilizing mobile, web, cloud, and API technologies. You will leverage your development knowledge and experience to guide internal and external developers to solve complex business problems. In this role, you may work independently or with a group of developers and with other subject matter experts to help design and build solutions for web and portal application.
Responsibilities:
* Define, analyze, and review business, system requirements, technical requirements and prioritize tasks; Performs more advanced responsibilities with minimal supervision
* Write clean, testable code using Java or MuleSoft to build API's (required)
* Write clean, testable code using Java, Kafka, Databricks, Qlik Replicate, and Azure Event Hubs to stream data (preferred)
* Deploy code to multiple test environments using tools such as Azure Dev Ops or GitHub
* Document development and operational procedures including implementing monitoring solutions
* Leverage industry standards and best practices for software development, including automated integration, test driven development, reusable code, object-oriented design, software configuration management
* Facilitate code reviews, unit testing, peer reviews and partner with QA to document test criteria
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 5 years of work experience beyond degree
* Five years of work experience as a Java developer
* API development experience using MuleSoft and/or Java
* Experience in building highly performant API's
* Advanced working knowledge and skill of professional field with ability to function as a subject matter expert for other staff across multiple technologies
* Familiarity with Agile environments
* Troubleshooting abilities and good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end-to-end application building
* Work experience on open-source technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS
* In-depth knowledge writing complex SQL queries for Oracle or SQL Server
* Proficiency in building back-end solutions to support web-based and/or mobile applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
