RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Scottsdale, AZ that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will play a critical role in architecting, deploying, securing, and optimizing a global network infrastructure. This hands-on position requires a proactive approach to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
* Proactively monitor, assess, and improve network performance, identifying potential issues and resolving them before they affect users or business functions
* Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-availability networks, including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
* Ensure infrastructure remains secure and current through consistent patching, upgrades, and vulnerability mitigation
* Manage and enhance disaster recovery protocols to maintain network resilience and operational continuity
* Serve as an escalation point for complex network troubleshooting, providing resolution and thorough documentation
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive network diagrams, processes, change logs, and configuration records
* Deliver both remote and on-site support to end-users and technical teams
* Stay informed on industry developments and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing relevant solutions
* Participate in after-hours maintenance, upgrades, and critical fixes when required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* At least one certification strongly preferred: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
* A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise network environments
* Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching
* Expert-level experience managing Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama
* Proficiency in VPN technologies, including Prisma VPN (client-based and clientless), IPsec, and SSL VPN
* Hands-on experience with Aruba wireless solutions, including IAP 505, Aruba Central, ClearPass, and 802.1x EAP-TLS
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds or equivalent
* Experience configuring and managing AWS VPCs, including peering and internet gateways
* Solid understanding of identity and access management solutions, particularly SSO/MFA tools like SAML and Okta
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
