RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Jose, CA that is seeking a Senior Product/UX Designer to join their team that is focusing on the user experience for the administrative portal for their SaaS Collaboration product.
Responsibilities:
* The Senior Product/UX Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to define product vision and deliver innovative, scalable solutions
* Leverage user feedback to guide design decisions and ensure the product meets user needs
* Build high-quality prototypes to communicate design concepts and facilitate discussions with stakeholders
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with organizational objectives and technical constraints
* Advocate for the user experience across the organization, ensuring that design decisions enhance usability and accessibility
* As a Senior Product/UX Designer, you will maintain and evolve design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the product
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on enterprise-facing products.
* Familiarity with front-end development and design handoff processes, ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams.
* Experience working in a PM and Engineering triad from project kickoff through handoff and QA, ensuring designs are implemented to specifications.
* Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools
* Strong skills in building prototypes to showcase and iterate on ideas
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to work in fast-paced environments and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
* Proven ability to learn quickly and understand complex, technical concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience designing for identity management, security-related products, or similar enterprise systems
* Knowledge of accessibility best practices and how they apply to design
* Experience maintaining design systems and ensuring consistency across multiple products
* Strong understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to create designs that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
