Senior Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Senior Software Developer for a fully onsite, six-month contract to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. The Senior Software Developer will join the client's IT Development and Automation team.

Responsibilities:
* Guide, mentor, and coach the development team, removing blockers and ensuring project completion
* Proactively monitors and assists with team workload balance
* Collaborate with team leaders and management on project direction and department strategy
* Define best practices and standards, ensuring adherence across the team
* Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance software quality
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
* Identify and escalate SDLC issues and gaps

REQUIREMENTS:
* MB 300 and MB 500 certification
* 7 years of experience in software development
* Proven experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 F&O
* Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X
* Proficiency and understanding of relational databases and querying
* Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
* Proficiency with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelines
* Proven ability to lead development of significant projects
* Advanced business awareness and understanding
* Demonstrated leadership in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
* Proven track record of working well with a team

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
