RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cupertino, CA that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Simulation.
Summary:
The team is looking for an Senior Software Engineer who has a mix of skills covering controls algorithm, physical system modeling and software development and can develop and improve simulation tools for various battery products. This person will be working with a cross-function team including algorithms, software, and system engineers.
REQUIREMENTS:
* B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Strong coding skills in C/C , Python and Matlab
* Experienced with modeling and simulating basic electrical circuits
* Experienced with data analysis - plotting, handling large data, converting data from format to another, reading/writing formatted data into tables, etc.
* Familiar with web application development tools and making API calls
* Experienced in unit test, integration test and acceptance test's tool and development methodologies
* Experienced in git-based version control system
* General understanding of control theory is a plus
* Ability to articulate problems and solutions clearly with documentation
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
