Server Infrastructure Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Server Infrastructure Engineer in Carson City, NV.

Responsibilities:
* Server Infrastructure Engineer will configure and maintain SD Networking infrastructure
* Administer Windows OS clustering and utilize Windows Admin Center for system management
* Collaborate with cross functional teams in implementation, and management of IT infrastructure projects
* Support team in managing Azure Stack HCI, including configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning
* Assist in to managing and optimizing Dell infrastructure
* Assist with performance and capacity planning
* Perform data center rack/stack and cabling duties
* As a Server Infrastructure Engineer, you will automate routine tasks
* Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Technology field or equivalent experience
* 2 years of Systems engineering experience
* Experience in managing both physical and virtual server environments
* Experience in managing Dell infrastructure
* Experience in scripting and automating tasks using PowerShell
* Experience with Linux OS, particularly RHEL
* Experience with Veeam Backup Platform
* Proficient in Windows OS Clustering and administration
* Knowledge of Azure Stack HCI, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and Hyper-V virtualization technologies
* Knowledge of Nutanix and Ansible AWX
* Familiarity with SD Networking concepts and technologies
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure ARC

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
