RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Software Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Software Project Manager will plan, execute, and manage the entire software project lifecycle, ensuring timely, within budget, and high-quality delivery
* Coordinate the project team, including developers, testers, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth progress of the project
* Define project objectives, scope, risks, and resource requirements, and establish project plans and schedules
* Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues and risks in a timely manner
* Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear project requirements and meet customer expectations
* Manage project budget, oversee costs, and resource utilization
* As a Software Project Manager, you will regularly report project status and progress to the management
* Foster teamwork and improve team performance and productivity
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred
* Experience in software project management preferred
* Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to adapt to change and work in a complex environment
* Strong teamwork and organizational skills
* Experience of ERP, CRM, Billing or HR planning is a plus
* Experience of ticketing system like JIRA is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
