RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Engineer Production Application Support to join their team remotely.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert support for platform technology, analyze application performance, and
collaborate with various teams
* Participation is required in the modification of software code, solution configuration and a broad understanding of technology implementations, software systems, networks, and
troubleshooting
* Ensure front-end and back-end functionality of production applications through effective
incident response, expert issue triage, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
* Ensure the functionality of production applications, diagnosing and fixing software application
flaws, performing code changes, code migration, and executing data manipulation tasks
* Analyze software application functionality flaws, collaborating with developers to diagnose root
causes and propose code fixes or process improvements
* Perform minor code changes in the application source code, ensuring strict adherence to
established code and test quality standards, to maintain and enhance overall system integrity
* Create and execute data manipulation tasks using SQL scripts to modify DB system records while adhering to change management and quality standards
* Provide expert support for assigned platform technology system implementations and
deployments via ticketing system
* Reporting application availability, issue trends, and KPI's to leadership team
* Working with release management for managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality
* Participates in the production implementation of production updates that improve efficiency and help prevent production impacts
REQUIREMENTS:
* ITIL certification preferred
* Experience with Azure, SQL Development, Production Application Support experience, Amazon, Cloud and troubleshooting exposure
* Experience with SQL development, product application support
* Experience troubleshooting scenarios, Azure background preferred
* Experience with software development, infrastructure, information security (plus)
Experience with:
* Access to confidential information (e.g., bank account info)
* Support for a platform technology (front end and back end) - a must have
* Root cause analysis capability
* Reimbursement process, scholarships, AR/AP, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
