RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior or Lead Product Manager - Retail Systems. This role is onsite 4 days a week in San Francisco or Rocklin, CA. This is a Product Management role that will focus in the digital merchandising domain. Projects in this area vary from PIM, Inventory Management and a home grown pricing application.
Responsibilities:
* Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories cross-functional teams including Engineering, UI/UX, Creative, and Business stakeholders
* Partner with Technical Project Managers to lead project execution
* Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategy for omnichannel pricing and promotions
* Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch support Track and report KPIs and feature effectiveness
* Champion process improvements and cross-brand initiatives
* Act as the subject matter expert on retail merchandising systems
* Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
* Develop high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
* Prepare requirements, specifications, business process and recommendations
* Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
* Frequently interact with customers, and/or functional peer group IC'S/managers, normally involving matters between department and other functional areas or internal customers
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of Product Management or Business Analysis experience, working in dynamic environments and on complex applications
* Deep knowledge of retail supply chain systems and processes, specifically around PIM, inventory management and price management
* Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation for a multi-brand, multi-channel and multi-geography retailer
* Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Understands basic project management methodology
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable bridging business needs with technical execution
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
