RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst for an onsite, direct hire opportunity in Overland Park, KS.
Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, and reporting results regarding the industry and the clients' businesses. They also provide recommendations based on analysis and will report into the Director of International Supply Chain in the United States.
Responsibilities:
* Supply Chain Data Analyst will collect and interpret data and analyze results
* Report the results to the relevant members of the business
* Identify patterns and trends in multiple large and complex data sets
* Work alongside business and management teams to identify business needs
* Define new data collection and analysis processes, including data cleansing and validation
* Document processes for above
* Provide recommendations and process improvements based upon data analysis
* As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will develop a thorough understanding of clients' shipping requirements and patterns
* Establish sound customer service and data entry skills to support growth within the current position
* Participate in ad-hoc projects leveraging data sets for the business
REQUIREMENTS:
* College degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
* 2 years of operational experience in international transportation, preferably with an international logistics provider
* Preferred understanding of international Purchase Order Management
* Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Proficient in Advanced Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, macros) and Power BI, and experience with SQL and data visualization software
* Competency in PC and database applications (including Microsoft Office Suite)
* Ability to prepare concise and professional reports and presentations
* A well-organized self-starter who is highly detail oriented
* CargoWise or other TMS platform experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
