RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a System Analyst, Data Governance Program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze, document, and support the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and workflows
* Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand data governance requirements and translate them into technical specifications
* Support the integration and maintenance of data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.)
* Perform data lineage, cataloging, and metadata management activities
* Assist in the identification and resolution of data quality issues and monitor remediation efforts
* Support the implementation of data stewardship roles and responsibilities across business domains
* Develop and maintain system documentation, data dictionaries, and process flow diagrams
* Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business teams to promote consistent data definitions and standards
* Participate in testing and validation of governance tool enhancements or configurations
* Help drive user adoption by providing training and support for data governance tools and best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field
* 3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role
* Strong understanding of data governance principles, data lifecycle management, and metadata management
* Experience working with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica Axon, or similar platforms
* Familiarity with SQL and data profiling techniques
* Solid knowledge of data modeling, data dictionaries, and data lineage concepts
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
