Kforce has a client who is seeking a senior scrum master or Quality lead who has worked in the same capacity. This person must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Scrum Master with experience in Auto Policy to join our team. This role involves leading Agile teams, ensuring project efficiency, and working closely with platform developers to implement solutions. The ideal candidate will lead from the front, proactively address questions, and make recommendations to improve processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Agile teams in the development and implementation of Auto Policy-related projects
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
* Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for platform developers
* Proactively address questions and provide recommendations to improve system functionality and efficiency
* Remove impediments and manage risks to ensure smooth project execution
* Coach and mentor team members to foster a high-performing, self-organizing team
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably with Auto Policy experience
* Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into technical requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make recommendations
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
* Knowledge of relevant software and tools
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with USAA systems and processes
* Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or related field
* Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
