RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Technology Risk and Compliance Quality Manager in Birmingham, AL.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk management within the banking or healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in implementing, remediating, and managing quality risk management for technology groups or products.
Responsibilities:
* Technology Risk and Compliance Quality Manager will develop, implement, and maintain technology quality control measures to support risk and compliance frameworks
* Manage and oversee quality risk management processes within technology teams or products
* Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements specific to banking or healthcare industries
* Lead efforts to remediate identified risks and improve compliance mechanisms
* As a Technology Risk and Compliance Quality Manager, you will utilize Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools, with a strong preference for experience with Archer
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align risk management strategies with organizational goals
* Provide expert guidance on risk implementation practices and ensure alignment with industry standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk implementation, and technology quality control
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in banking and/or healthcare industries
* Demonstrated experience with GRC tools; Archer experience preferred
* Proven ability to implement, remediate, and manage quality risk management frameworks for technology groups or products
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with various stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
* Certification in risk management, compliance, or related areas (e.g., CRISC, CISA, or similar) is a plus
* Experience managing complex regulatory frameworks across large organizations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
