Key Responsibilities
- Orchestrate and administer Kubernetes environments.
- Maintain, enhance, and automate CI/CD pipelines.
- Administer development environments.
- Manage cloud architecture.
- Provide customer installation administration and consulting services.
Requirements
This position requires 2 years of experience with:
- Kubernetes architecture, infrastructure, and administration.
- Monitoring and analysis tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Istio, etc.
- Linux system administration skills.
- CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Ansible, Argo Workflows, ArgoCD, etc.
- Scripting and/or programming languages specifically Bash and Python.
- Experience managing and automating deployments for complex applications deployed to various environments including cloud and on-premises.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload based on team objectives.
- Ability to define, design, and implement automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems.
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience with cloud database and services such as MySQL and Postgres; Additionally no-SQL databases such as Mongo and Arango.
- Experience with cloud container services such as AKS and EKS.
- Understanding of CSI layers, storage classes, and provisioners.
- Understanding of Kubernetes networking.
- Understanding of the Kubernetes CLI (Kubectl).
- Experience with Nginx Ingresses.
- Experience with Helm templating, dependencies, and the CLI.
- Understanding of container registries.
- Understanding of the Linux terminal.
- Understanding of Git repositories and the CLI.
