Job Description
As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to optimize indirect procurement categories and drive significant cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize indirect procurement categories and drive significant cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize procurement operations.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP highly desirable.
- 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
