Senior DevOps Engineer

Kforce has a client in Denver, CO that is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support their dynamic and rapidly growing team in the law enforcement and corporate security space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kubernetes orchestration and administration
• CI/CD maintenance, enhancement, and automation
• Development environment administration
• Cloud architecture administration
• Customer installation administration and consulting

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes architecture, infrastructure, and administration
• Familiarity with Kubernetes monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Istio)
• Linux system administration skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Argo Workflows, ArgoCD)
• Scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload based on team objectives
• Ability to define, design, and implement an automated continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) system
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Experience with cloud database and services (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, ArangoDB)
• Experience with cloud container services (e.g., AKS, EKS)
• Understanding of CSI layers, storage classes, and provisioners
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking
• Understanding of the Kubernetes CLI (Kubectl)
• Experience with Nginx Ingresses
• Experience with Helm templating, dependencies, and the CLI
• Understanding of container registries
• Understanding of the Linux terminal
• Understanding of Git repositories and the CLI
• Experience with container technologies and concepts (e.g., Docker, Docker build files, BuildKit)
• Experience with virtualization concepts and technologies (e.g., vSphere/ESXI)
• Single Sign On and Identity Provider experience (e.g., Keycloak)
