Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Researcher in Chicago, IL. Summary: The UX Researcher will be a leader on UX (user experience) team. The Researcher will be integral to products and an advocate for both users and user experience research process from discovery through design delivery. In this role, you will define strategy, develop and execute research plans, apply appropriate methodologies and report findings that elevate and translate user insights into actionable recommendations. At the core, this position will transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful product launches through user research throughout different design phases. You will work to create a best-in-class user experience for frontline employees, helping transform unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful employee tools. Responsibilities:

- Facilitate, direct & solicit feedback during design reviews
- Develop data collection efforts and oversee data analysis and synthesis using industry standard techniques
- Design and implement research studies, including developing methodologies and data collection instruments
- Lead, plan and execute field visits to shadow users in ethnographic states
- Develop, prepare and deliver research reports, presentations, and other research deliverables
- Analyze research findings across products and provide actionable insights to stakeholders; Maintain & advocate for research repository
- Strategize and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into decision-making processes
- Lead and plan workshops using established workshop frameworks
- Mentor researchers and provide guidance on research best practices
- Actively contribute to team culture and research ops
Top 3 skill sets required for this role:
- Strategy: Translating business and user goals into product and user experience direction
- Execution: UX/UI/interaction design skills and operation of Figma (design systems, prototyping)
- Soft skills: Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with team and stakeholders
- Data analysis (product analytics e.g., GA, Quantum Metric)
- Motion design
- UX writing
