Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Safety Engineer to lead safety-critical system development in compliance with ISO 26262 . This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety integrity of automotive embedded systems through rigorous analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain the Technical Safety Concept (TSC) , including safety goals (SG), functional safety requirements (FSR) , and technical safety requirements (TSR) .
- Perform system safety analyses (FTA, DFMEA, FMEA, etc.) to identify and mitigate risks in automotive systems.
- Define, validate, and document safety requirements to align with ISO 26262 standards.
- Create and manage project safety plans , safety test plans , and safety cases throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate safety requirements into design and development processes.
- Utilize tools like Polarion and Medini for requirements management, safety analysis, and documentation.
- Support validation and verification activities to ensure compliance with functional safety standards.
