Job Title: Licensed Occupational Therapist
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Location: Deerfield, IL (In-Person)
Reports To: Senior Occupational Therapist
Status: Full-Time; Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Preferable hours between 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Position Overview:
As a Licensed Occupational Therapist at KGH Autism Services, you will:
- Provide therapy to children with autism and other developmental disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including Speech Language Pathologists, BCBAs, and Mental Health Clinicians.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Support parent and caregiver training to ensure therapeutic techniques are reinforced at home.
- Document client progress and outcomes while maintaining accurate and timely records.
Qualifications:
- Required: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Required: Illinois State Licensure in good standing.
- Required: Experience working with children with autism and/or developmental disorders.
- Required: Knowledge of sensory processing disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Preferred: Certification in First Aid/CPR.
- Preferred: Experience with mentoring COTAs or students.
Skills & Abilities:
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a interdisciplinary team, including Speech Language Pathologists, Mental Health Clinicians, and BCBAs.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accurate documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt interventions as needed and troubleshoot challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality care.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including clinics, schools, and outdoor settings.
