JOB TITLE: Surveyor

DEPARTMENT: Technical Services

LOCATION: Robinson Mine - Ruth, NV

PAY GRADE: N/A

POSITION REPORTS TO: Chief Mine Engineer

ROTATING SHIFT: No

NONEXEMPT

Purpose & Scope of The Position:

Complete survey tasks that assist in the safe mining activities including but not limited to ore control layout, drill pattern preparation, and GPS data management. Work in a team environment. Preserve personal safety and the safety of coworkers. Learn new things, and teach others, so that we can improve as individuals and as a team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Survey of dig faces.
• Ore control layout.
• Drill map generation.
• Update Topography.
• End-of-Month laser scan.
• Be a role model to others in safe behavior.
• Be willing and enthusiastic.
• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.

Required Education, Work Experience & Training:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Good Written and Verbal Skills.
• Positive Attitude.
• Interact well with others.
• Work in a team environment.
• A valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Education, Work Experience & Training:

• Previous Survey Experience.

Technical Skills:

• Basic competency in personal computer operation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to learn new software.

Travel Requirements:

• N/A

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or greater than 50 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than 20 pounds of force constantly.
