Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Estimator, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing blueprints and specifications. Daily tasks include calculating material costs, labor requirements, and project timelines to develop accurate and competitive bids. The role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to gather essential information. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed records of estimated costs, budgeting for projects, and updating cost databases as necessary.
Qualifications
- Skilled in construction project estimating
- Experienced in performing accurate and efficient plan takeoffs
- Proficient in cost management and budgeting
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in construction project management and takeoff software, including but not limited to Stack, Bluebeam, and Procore
- Able to effectively read, understand, and interpret architectural, landscape, MEP, civil, and structural plans
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent professional experience in commercial or residential construction
