In this role, you will lead the Kuiper Government Solution (KGS) Sales Operations team. The Sales Operations Team works globally with Business Development, Programs, Product, and Operations teams to deliver insights needed for KGS to drive sale closure in the most effective manner. This role will help lay the foundation for the KGS business to rapidly scale. You will work in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, ability to dive deep into data, comfort working with business and technical teams on scoping, developing, and delivering scaled solutions for multi-faceted businesses. Candidates must be able to multi-task on different sales operation initiatives within Amazon, manage teams, and develop team members. The best candidates will have deep understanding the Government business and aerospace while also being able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. Key job responsibilities Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute strategic sales operations strategy and roadmap development across KGS. * Lead high-impact initiatives that influence multiple organizations and technology stacks. * Lead Sales Operations globally and programs with company-wide impact. * Oversees strategy and long-term planning for the sales organization. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales strategies with marketing, finance, and product plans. * Oversee the implementation and evolution of the KGS CRM system and other sales mechanisms. * Manage KGS CRM system, maintain data accuracy and optimizing usage of the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to streamline sales activities. * Monitor sales data, identify trends, and generate reports to inform sales strategy and decision-making. * Develop, deploy, and improve KGS sales process. Design and implement new workflows to enhance efficiency. * Design sales comp plans, define territories, deploy quota, and implement payout of the sales incentive plans. * Manage the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, and measurement of goal attainment. * Develop training materials to support sales team on-boarding related to sales processes and tools. * Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies, and build mechanisms to support the sales team. * Work with and influence senior leadership to align sales operations with business objectives. * Remove organizational barriers and drive consensus on technical approaches. * Drive sales process improvement to provide greater insight and scale exponential growth. * Work with Product, Business, and Backend service teams to ensure integration. * Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for the KGS sales organization to measure success. - MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in a leadership role in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, Business Development, or other related fields.
- Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
