Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Kuiper Government Solutions’ (KGS) mission is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers. This position will be working on KGS’ Business Operations team. We have an immediate opening for a Contracts and Operations Manager to support the KGS Business Operations Team. Key job responsibilities •Drafting, revising, and managing solicitations / requests for quotes (RFQs) and consultant contracts (work orders, main agreements, etc.) to ensure they are accurate, legally binding, and align with the business’ requirements. •Maintaining the integrity of all relevant documentation and be diligent in updating this information as necessary •Entering and maintaining contract data in KGS’ business systems •Building and sustaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, allowing for open communication and aligning expectations •Managing business partnerships and effectively handling business escalations •Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to document all activities, ensuring transparency and clear communication This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.

- Experience managing the full contractual lifecycle, including drafting, executing, and amending contracts
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, executing contracts, dispute resolution, and strategizing vendor performance SLAs
- Experience working cross-functionally with procurement, legal, finance, and risk functions (internally and externally) as it relates to vendor evaluation, selection, and performance
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills, even in ambiguous situations
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple tasks of varying duration and complexity
- Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams
