We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our prestigious aerospace company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality assurance, including supplier audits, compliance with FAA regulations, management of internal quality procedures, ensuring compliance with internal processes, and managing deployed product quality issues. Additionally, the role will require working closely with customers to ensure the product meets their specific requirements for various use-cases in jurisdictions around the world.
Responsibilities :
Supplier Audits : Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and FAA regulations and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Internal Quality Procedures : Develop, implement, and manage internal quality procedures and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Quality Control Measures : Oversee the deployment of quality control measures, including inspection and testing, to ensure that products meet established quality standards before they are released to customers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain, to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Customer Requirements : Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and ensure that products meet their expectations and comply with applicable regulations in different jurisdictions around the world.
Product Quality Issues : Manage and lead investigations into product quality issues and customer complaints and develop and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Continuous Improvement : Conduct root cause analysis and use data-driven approaches to identify areas for continuous improvement in quality systems, processes, and products.
Training and Guidance : Provide guidance and training to employees on quality assurance principles and practices and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities, including audits, inspections, and test results, and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) for aerospace products.
Proven experience in supplier audits, internal quality procedures, and managing product quality issues.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
Proficiency in using quality tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, and Six Sigma.
Professional certifications in quality management, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), are preferred.
Willingness to travel to suppliers and customers' locations as needed.

Anticipated compensation : $85,000-$100,000 DOE
