Job Title: Customer Success Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN
Position Overview:
As the Customer Success Manager at KH Commercial Roofing, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring a smooth and successful experience from initial presentation to project completion. You’ll be responsible for presenting proposals, following up on leads, closing deals, and coordinating between clients and our internal teams. This role requires regular communication with clients, occasional travel for on-site visits, and a sharp focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Presentations & Proposals
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Clearly communicate KH Commercial Roofing’s value proposition, scope of work, and pricing.
- Occasionally travel to meet clients and conduct site visits.
- Sales & Deal Closure
- Follow up on leads and existing proposals to maintain momentum in the sales process.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure new business.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Monitor ongoing projects and keep clients informed of progress.
- Project Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to ensure project scope and timelines are clear.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to clients throughout the roofing process.
- Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work with teams to resolve them quickly.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project updates in CRM or other tools.
- Generate regular status reports to management highlighting wins, challenges, and upcoming activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles (ideally in construction, roofing, or related industries).
- Familiarity with commercial roofing or general construction practices is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for customer service.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client visits and site evaluations.

- Education:
