Job Overview : As a Cashier / Barista, you will play a dual role in our establishment. You will be responsible for managing transactions at the cash register and preparing a variety of beverages. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
Answer questions about menu items, recommend products, and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
Maintain knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation techniques and stay updated on new products and offerings.
Ensure that all beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity.
Directing customers to the correct location based on the nature of their visit.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the cashier counter, beverage preparation area, and customer seating.
Stock supplies and ingredients as needed, and notify management of low inventory levels.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
