Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, providing administrative support, and have a welcoming phone voice with a can do attitude. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties
- Greet visitors and manage front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, directing calls as necessary.
- Manage calendars for scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist in proofreading documents to ensure clarity and correctness.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Support the team with various clerical tasks, including filing and document management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance office efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role or as a clerk, preferably in a dental or similar environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling software.
- Attention to detail with strong proofreading capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and office management software is preferred.
We are a full service property management company / real estate brokerage company engaged in real estate sales & management. Some real estate office experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidate should be a strong front line person proficient in Microsoft word / excel and in house software used. This is entry level and will go to full time and will work directly with real estate broker owner and will grow to full time with benefits. The hours are flexible and open for discussion. There is big opportunity to grow with us for the right candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
