ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a HR/Talent Acquisition Intern to join the KHAITE team for this Summer. This role will report to the Chief People Office and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires and interns.
  • Maintain HR databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist in talent sourcing by identifying potential candidates through various channels.
  • Help coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Conduct research on industry hiring trends, diversity initiatives, and best practices in HR.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives, such as planning internal events and creating newsletters.
  • Assist in learning & development initiatives and projects.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents and organizing files.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Passion for the fashion industry and interest in HR & talent acquisition
  • Ability to handle confidential information



Education/Experience:

  • Currently enrolled for a Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
