We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Maintain the front desk area in a neat and organized manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus but not required.
