We are looking to hire a Temporary Product Development Assistant to join our team in our Bellevue headquarters.
This is a 6-8 month (approximate) temporary opportunity to cover an employee on maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
-Support the Sourcing and Product Development teams during the development stage, focusing on data management, sample tracking, and adherence to the product development calendar.
-Maintain and update production WIP reports across multiple seasons and customers to track and manage requests and submits to meet vendor and customer deliverables.
-Create and manage development tracking tools, calendars, logs, and reports for samples, fabrics, and trims to ensure timely progress and alignment with department objectives.
-Update and manage costing sheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing details for cross functional teams.
-Support managers with various projects and duties as needed to support the overall business
-Attend cross functional and milestone meetings as needed, responsible for all meeting notes
-Collaborate with internal and external partners, including Suppliers, Sourcing, Technical Design, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, Operations, Logistics, Marketing, and Accounting, to meet business objectives.
-Be available for occasional evening or weekend work during peak periods and possibly attend industry trade shows
Qualifications:
-Some College/AA degree; a bachelor’s degree in Fashion or equivalent experience is preferred.
-Product Development Assistant Role or Project Management Experience preferred.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management and cross functional teams.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey goals and objectives to both internal teams and external customers.
-Strong attention to details
-Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
-Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
-Ability to multitask and work in a high pace environment
-Analytical skills with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
-Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Compensation:
This position is a TEMPORARY, full-time position. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Our benefit package is provided after 90 days of employment and includes paid time off, and medical and dental insurance coverage.
