Job Description

As a Construction Unit Turn Crew Member, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing vacant apartment units for new residents, aiming to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Performing tasks such as demolition, framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, finish carpentry, replacing flooring, electrical trim out, plumbing trim out and other construction-related duties to ensure units are move-in ready.

• Assisting in capital renovations as needed.

• Safely operating various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, saws, and measurement devices.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.

• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on schedule and uphold the company's quality standards.

• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring all work is performed in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials, particularly in tasks related to unit remodeling (make-ready) processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Flexibility to work at various property locations within the St. Louis/Illinois Metropolitan area, including Granite City, Wood River, Collinsville, Bethalto, Belleville, and St. Louis.

• Physical capability to perform tasks that may require lifting up to 80 lbs and working in varying weather conditions.

• This is not a maintenance position; it focuses on construction and unit preparation tasks.

• Ability to adapt to changing project schedules and work under pressure.

• Proficiency in using smart devices and applications.

• A positive attitude and the ability to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
