KHS reasonably expects to pay starting compensation for the position of Database Administrator III in the range of $41.08- 53.27 hourly.

About the role
The Database Administrator III is responsible for the integrity of all databases that support business processes with the added responsibility of comprehensive database systems support, and a comprehensive knowledge of the data stored. This includes database design; table definition design and creation; ETL (Extract Translate and Load) design and development; database maintenance, tuning, backup, and upgrades. Collaborate and mentor application and database development staff with database design, automation, and validation of data load routines involving application databases. Architect, create, and document database designs, schemas, and data flow diagrams. Manage the data warehouse design, setup, and maintenance to include extracts and data schemas. Participate as a stakeholder in the project management methodology as it applies to database technology, storage, or warehousing. Work closely with senior members of the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Employment Standards :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or related field from an accredited school or equivalent and six (6) years progressive experience in a Database Administration or Database programming position for a medium to large size organization with a structured IT department preferably in healthcare.
Ten (10) years progressive experience in a Database Administration or Database programming position for a medium to large size organization with a structured IT department preferably in healthcare.
